Frenzied Friday {Advanced Apologies}

While I certainly didn't have this on my list of Hopes & Dreams for 2013, I have big news:

I'M A MOMAGER!!!

That's right, I've joined the ranks of DiLo and KriKardash {Does that abbrev. not work? I've neve been goo at tha stuff.}

All that to say, my baby is all but famous and I couldn't be a more proud pageant momma.
The Hollybug is being featured on Total Bassett Case as one of Floyd's Friends today! Head on over to Sarah's blog to check it out!
"I'm ready for my closeup, dahling!"
And I'm truly glad Holly has gotten her life together, ya know, starting to rake in tons of moola from endorsement deals and all, because other than that, it's pretty frenzied around these parts lately!

Let's see...

Upon returning home yesterday from almost two weeks away, I headed out to Target and the grocery store to restock the house. Suffice it to say, it was mandatory for me to send this text to my husband:
Y'all, I spent approximately 1.75 hours {yes, that exact number} in Super Target. In my defense, it is indeed SUPER, so I'm nipping this justification in the bud right here, right now.

But I might eventually need an intervention. A Targevention, if you will.
That bullseye just pulls me in and suddenly I need pounds of body lotion, five new pairs of pants, and an irresistibly adorable pack of Thank You notecards, even though I don't write many notes.

I also saw this on my way home and seriously looked around for the To Catch a Predator camera crew.
Maybe it's legit. In fact, around these parts, it is very likely legit. And I'm all for homegrown, mom-and-pop businesses; honest people just trying to make a living, ya know.

But please tell me why in the heeeeeeeellllllll I would give this dude childhood home movies of me running around naked with a blanket-turban on my head, when it's the most he can do to tack poster board onto a 2x4 on the side of his pickup truck.
For the sake of all that is holy {<-- I definitely just typed Holly there and had to edit. See, told you I'm obsessed with her.}, get a decal.

Something about slapping a magnet on the side of your Ranger would indeed influence me to send you home movies and that grainy picture of my little brother's tushy, stark naked in nothing but cowboy boots.

WE INTERRUPT THIS REGULARLY SCHEDULE PROGRAMMING TO INFORM YOU:

As I type this post, I just saw a commercial announcing that WICKED is coming to Charlotte. I almost wet my pants. I haven't been this excited since that one time Dunkaroos made a daring return to Target shelves.
And yep, I bet you didn't know I like musicals, did ya? Or that the Wicked station is my favorite Pandora station of all time?
Learn something new around these parts every day!

Bet ya also didn't know that I'm scared of icebergs, but that's an embarrassing confession post for another day.

Has this post been random enough for you yet?
Good freaking Lord, I'm more all over the place than Lindsay Lohan's spray tan.

Lastly, considering some 200+ of you claim to read my blog on a regular basis {GFC don't lie, peeps! Have I also mentioned I love each of you to the moon and back and wish we could all live in one big blogger commune so we can hang out on the reg?}  I feel obligated to share with you when I find the hottest song ever.
{A song I realize isn't new, but it's new to me and I'm a changed woman.}

Better even than Hot in Herre, and I don't think any of us thought we'd live to see the day.
RUN, the brainchild of Mat Nathanson & Sugarland hookin' up and gettin' randy.
First off, Mat Nathanson is one of my faves. So scruffy adorable.

But besides that, let's just say, Marvin Gaye needs to move over, because some bedrooms are heatin' up tonight.
After reading the lyrics, this song might be about cheating, but I'm choosing to ignore that bad line and focus on the overall sexiness.

Clearly, I need it to be 5:00 so I can have a drink or nine. I'm off my rocker; like, fell-on-the-ground-years-ago off.

Happy weekend, pretties!

Duuuuuuuude,WICKED! It comes to Michigan State once a year(ish) and I've seen it three times. Every once in a while, I forget to listen to the soundtrack and when I rediscover it, I get goosebumps and chills all over again.

YES.

If it weren't for the 704 area code, I'd be certain that "tailgate billboard" was at a Walmart in my hometown. I mean, you almost had to have bee NEAR a Walmart for a classy pic like that, right?! And 1.75 hours in Target is no big deal. I've done it many times my friend. Love me some Tarjay :)

Aw, YAY for your Holly's big moment! So cool to see her article :)

Im going on a field trip to see Wicked in Feb!! 2nd time and sooo excited!!! Cute post at TBC's Fridays with Floyd...funny to think that'
s how I originally found you!!! And definitely love reading your randomness!! Taregt is bad...if I go by myself it's good-bye spending freeze allowance for the month, but if I go with my husband; it's in and out with just the things we came for in under 20 min!!

Ahaha I loved this post! I am the same way at Target! I always end up walking out of there with more than I originally planned.

Have a nice weekend!

"...and suddenly I need pounds of body lotion" seriously made me LOL because I can relate!!! Only, I wish there were a Target near me. I have a Super Walmart near me and I feel like those frumpy "People of Walmart" just by being there!

I had heard that song by Mat Nathanson before. Yep, definitely a steamy song!

Also, just wanted to let you know that you can stop following me at Life as Mrs Skinner and start following me at Texas Mrs: http://texasmrs.blogspot.com/ . I had to get a new blog due to my email address. Thanks!

Anyone that enters a Target store, probably needs an intervention! Infact, I went there today and overheard a husband telling his wife "You know we only came in here for some paper supplies...and we're now at the checkout with everything BUT the paper you wanted. We should have gone to Micheals."

Adorable little furbaby!

I fell in love with that song the first time I heard it too. Melts me.
