How the hellz is it only Hump Day?!
I could've sworn this week had made it to Third Base by now.
And by Third Base, I mean Thursday. Gah, sounds so similar I often get confused.
What, did I say something wrong?
With as long as this week has seemed {I blame the whole "full-time job" thing I do every day. What the deuce is that all about? Doesn't the economy know I have blog posts to write?}, there's one thing that's been getting me through.
And that thing weighs about 1,500 pounds.
Shockingly, this is the first time I'm not talking about Mama June's neck.
This time, I'm talking about one of my favorite animals, MANATEES. Aka sea cows. Which I've always thought was kinda mean, but I do love cows, so it's fitting.
More specifically, I've gotta share with you Calming Manatee.
All it is is a website with pictures of manatees with reassuring sayings on them.
Mind: Blown.

I once had a pink sweatshirt with a manatee on it that my cousins brought me back from Seaworld. It was the shiz, obviously. I should have saved it. It would totally fit you, except the arms. They'd probably be too short. :/
I love manatees and even have a stuffed one from vacation in Florida about a billion years ago. And January always seems like the longest month to me.
I love manatees so much. It was always so sad to see them with propeller scars on their backs in Tampa Bay..... big floppy cow things that got hit by boats. My heart ached.

Manatees are my favorite. I always make my grandma take me to the aquarium to see them when I go visit her in Florida...I might have to go this weekend when I am there.
Hilarious that manatees are your favies. And how did you ever find that website? I like pandas, myself. Have you ever seen the sneezing panda video on YouTube? Or the one where lots of pandas are sliding down slides? Too fun!

This is great! On Monday I said if the day was indicative of the week, it was going to be busy. It's proven to be true! Here's to hump day! :)
Ugh! I've woken up each morning of this week and think it's a day ahead!! Seriously, by the time Friday comes, I'm going to think it's Saturday and be really ticked off at the world because.. well, I still have to go to work! Boo!
We had the opportunity to go kayaking with the manatees in Florida in October. They are so amazing!!
They are totally creepy cute. have you seen those animals called dugongs? they look kinda similar I think (that'd be embarrassing if they're actually the same animal, but I dunno) and they slurp grass all day off the ocean floor. So funny.
