Hold on a sec, Leslie's gonna have to wait.
Do y'all know my Shug Mama? She does have a name {Beth} but I prefer Shug Mama, since her blog's name is Shug in Boots. Shug's a super duper Southern girl like me and we found out we live about 10 minutes from each other, so blating was obviously in order.
Wanna know what wasn't in order?
A picture. Of us. Together.
Because we suck and were too busy stuffing our faces and talking 10000000 miles an hour.
But we had a blast, and since Charlotte as a city kinda mostly sucks {sorry peeps, it's just not my jam}, I'm happy to have a local friend who kinda mostly agrees :)

Besides a fantabulous blate, my weekend consisted of an epically epical epic Twitter conversation with Whitney, Helene, and Kate.

The topic? Because I know the curiosity is killing you...
SMILEY WILEY MILEY CYREY.
And Big Poppa Bills, of course.
At some point, I spewed off the embarrassingly awesome fact that one Halloween, Glenn and I went dressed up as Miley and Billy Ray, and that it wasn't even awkward when we made out, for obvious reasons.
Which spurred Helene to say that she and her husband also went as Miley and B.Ray one year. Which spurred me to remind her that we were separated at birth, so this really wasn't a surprise.
Which spurred Kate to ask for pictures.
I'm a people pleaser, what can I say...
Why yes, my white wifebeater does say "Party in the U.S.A." and "I *heart* Daddy."
Hey, at least I was wearing pants. If you can call those pants.
Real lyfe Miley isn't a fan of such items.
Ya see, Glenn and I are one of those obnoxious couples who like to do the duo thing for Halloween.
Bonnie & Clyde.
Dick & Jane.
Lucy and Desi.
Except we've never done any of those couples.
Instead, and here's the part where my mom calls me and yells at me for publicizing this information...
Glenn and I once went out for 'Ween dressed as a dominatrix and her sub.
That's right, we were 50 Shades, Opposites Version, before effed up business execs with low-hanging sweatpants and icy eyes were even cool.
Let's just say, it's a good thing I don't have an ambition to become Prez one day,
because I also often carry whips in my purse.
Glenn probably shouldn't enter the election either ~ his shirt had "Spank Me" written on the back, and that night, approximately 39 people slapped his bootaaay.
I can't exactly blame them. He's bootylicious.
Woof. College was fun, eh?
I also once dressed up as Willow Smith, whippin' my hurrrr back and forth like whoa.
Except not really. That's actually just my standard bar behavior.
So, anyone willing to de-crazy-fy our behavior by telling me you've dressed up as something equally ridiculous as Christina Grey?
Please? Anyone? Bueller?
Oh, that's right. It's Monday, Bueller's playin' hooky.

OK, and now that I've totally declassed myself to the entire blog world, go check out Whitney @ Observant Turtle, an actually classy blogger I'm guest posting for today!

This def made me laugh out loud! Hubs hates couple costumes so I don't have good ones :(
still can't get over the fact that we both dressed as miley. we are soul sistas for LIFE.
-gangsta lene.
I have the funniest thing to tell you and Helene, I had a crazy dream and you two both were featured in it last night. Bahaha, oh lordy.
PS- whipping my hair back and forth is something I do almost on the daily, you are not alone. & you and Glenn are amazing. Caleb and I once did Wendy and Dave Thomas, so we tried the whole father/daughter thing... somewhat creepy. Did we care? Nope.
I love the Billy and Miley costumes! That's too funny! I was a Jellyfish year before last-I had a bowl on my head with streamers and ribbon hanging off like tentacles-and didn't even place in the costume contest I entered! Not cool! And how fun that you and Shug live so close!
hilarious costumes! i will definitely be using one of these next halloween :) just found your blog and LOVE it!

hahaha!! omg!! that is pure awesomeness--both pics!! You are so ahead of the trend with the dominatrix costume before 50 shades!! I wanted to do Soap (him) and sponge(me) this year but it didn't work out and that would have been our first couple costume...omg one year my husband was "The Shocker"...please tell me you know what that is!!
You already know how much my heart smiles when I talk about Miley but the fact that you were Miley just makes me love your face even more. Poodle, out.
Y'all are hilarious. Anj and I used to be better, but we have succumbed to old age here in the last few years. We just drink while we hand out candy. Maybe dress up like a cat or a witch. Judge the kids' outfits. And their parents.
I had the leftover tots for breakfast. ;)
I so enjoy you friend. Happy Monday! I hope it flies.
love, love, love
You are hilarious. My beef with Charlotte (when I travel there for work) is the traffic. Why so many people?
One of my hot male coworkers recently wore a grey silk tie to work. He may have been molested by a handful of women. Does that count? HA!
Hahaha I can not stop laughing at that photo of you and Glenn as Mily and Billy Ray!
Christina Grey. Hilarious. I wish I had bloggers in SA! Blates sound fun! :)
I love couple Halloween costumes. I love matching in general. I promised Ross that one day my daughter and I are going to match outfits. Creepy, right? But I totally love it.
Secondly, you remind me so much of Spencer from Pretty Little Liars. I do NOT know why. But you do.
Visiting from The Observant Turtle! I just wanted to say I loved your guest post. I totally forgot about the railroad thing until you mentioned it. I remember on school bus rides, we used to pick our feet up AND touch a screw in the bus AND say something silly (I think it had to do with bananas?). Did you do any of that?
Happy New Year!
I love your bar behavior I happen to have fallen on a car Saturday after a bar outing, oops
Thanks for providing some early week laughs! I'm heading back to work tomorrow after a few weeks off and was feeling down - this post definitely cheered me up!!!
Cheers - Lou The Honesty Path
hahaa this is so awesome. I wish my boyfriend would do couples costumes with me but hes just too cool for school or something equally as lame. LOOOVE the dom idea.. very ballsy sista- i like it!
Again, I can't even think youre couple costumes are lame like a usually do BECAUSE your choices are so spectacular! You make one hot Miley yo!
My husband isn't into costumes either and even if I did get him in one, he'd never let me take his picture. You both sound like an amazing hilarious couple...so if it's ok with you, I'll live those fun moments vicariously through you!
