Mark the date and time, y'all, because for the first time in as long as I can remember, it's a Monday and I'm absolutely ready to take on this week!
We're talkin' I'm about to own these next five days like J.Lo owned her thighs last night. Come at me, baby, I'm wearin' my power suit!
{And by power suit, I obviously mean leggings and an oversized sweater. I'm never that energetic.}
I'm thinking my take-on-the-world 'tude is due to the R&R I got to enjoy this weekend with my two favorite little lovenuggets.
| Why yes, there is a picture of my You won't find me apologizin' ~ that's cuteness at its finest, people. |
This is how we weekend:
1. Our weekends start with playtime, always always always. Please, like I could deny that precious little face.
2. My sweet friend Ashley sent me these adorable earrings, just because! Have I mentioned that I love her? And them, too ~ are they chevron? Aztec-ish? Prettaaaay? YES.
3. We went to the mall {on a Saturday... clearly I don't value my life} and I was reminded for the 3,067th time why I loathe the Apple store. Love the products, but also love online ordering, mmkaythanks.
4. Summer needs to be here, like, yesterday. My blackberry sangria didn't speed its arrival, but it helped me forget it's still 40ish degrees outside!
5. Ahi tuna. Do I even need to explain this obsession?
6. We're still working on the whole "You're in timeout for being a big ol' sassy brat, stay on your place" thing with Hollybug. Think she's getting it? And don't worry, it's not that she's too big for the bed, it just looks that way. She fits on it perfectly, when she wants to.
7. {Yes, Glenn texts me from the upstairs of our house. Let's not dwell on that.}
Leave it to Animal Planet to remind me that one shedding creature in my house definitely isn't enough. Here's a tip: Don't watch their special "Too Cute," about all species of cuddly little nuggets.
On a positive, it's quite educational. Things I learned:
* Mini pigs require a covering of mud or sunscreen if they're gonna be outside in the elements. Sometimes they hate sunscreen time and squeal and it's Too Cute, indeed.
* Lop rabbits give themselves little self-cleansing facials. And their ears flop so damn much in the process that I'm still cleaning up my melted heart off the floor.
* Robin was brilliant for getting a hedgehog. They're the cutest animals on this entire planet. {Besides puppy Buggins... she was a freaking doll baby.}
8. My grocery store had a sale on the best cookies in existence. Damnit, Harris Teeter, now I actually have to use the elliptical we bought last year.
9. Healthy black bean burgers/patties/delicious things. Recipe to come later this week!

WHYYYY ISN'T IT OCTOBER YET?!
Woah, things just got heated. Sorry about that.
Can you bring Holly and her cuteface eyebrows with you when you come to Orlandizzle? I need to love on her.

and yes apple store = devil.
I love your puppers...she is so cute!
I have TOTALLY text Brad as he was upstairs!
Ahi tuna....so yummy!
...you mean use the elliptical to hang clothes and such on, right? because hello, best (and most expensive) drying rack ever.
my cousin had a hedgehog. it was adorable. if you succeed with say on your place, please let me know what trick you used.
sangria & sunshine, yes please
Hahahha I like Holly's style. Also, I said "awwww" out loud in my office imagining a wittle piggy needing a wittle sunscreen. Can't handle it.
Summer and Sunshine need to come and it can't come soon enough! The Apple store is the devil - though they have this new app that you purchase your stuff with from your phone and just leave - I did it once but I still felt like a thief.
I desperately need to take my computer in but I loathe the apple store. Also please post the recipie for these black bean cakes. I had some at a resturant on Saturday and I am dying to recreate them.
No worries, I had to buy some mini cupcakes at the grocery store Sunday...but they were on sale! and they are minis! :) Love your puppy pics...so cute!
"major panic attack and smelled like shit" LOL
Never apologize for the amount of Holly pics...she's too cute not to make a million appearances!
Can you share your black bean burger recipe?!

Immaculate Baking Co is my go-to when I don't have the time to make homemade cookies! Looks like a great weekend!! xx
CANNOT wait for your recipe! I am a black bean burger addict these days :) I will be re-creating for sure! EEEK! I want a baby pig, or a lop bunny, or a hedgehog... please and thanks! Too stinking cute for sure.
presh presh presh all around. it was in the 80s here yesterday but muggy as all get out, I'll trade ya!
It's 70 here. Not saying, just saying...come visit. Also, I want a mini pig and hubs has set a firm no. If I ever get divorced, I'm getting a big...and a bunny..
Too cute is actually the most amazing thing on TV. I cannot wait it or I will be stuck on the couch for 7 hours.
Ahi tuna is my fav! That looks so delicious!
I feel the same way about the Apple store...I hate going in there and refuse to meet my husband when he goes in. He feels the same about most of my stores so we usually just meet up later!
Happy Monday!

I miss Harris Teeter! We don't have them in FL and life isn't the same! I played the Ahi Tuna game twice this weekend-anytime it's on a menu, I'm ordering it! Except maybe if McDonalds came out with a McTuna or something like that, then I'd consider drawing the line...
I text Steve from upstairs. too much effort to walk down or yell.
Holly is such a cute doggy. I"m like you, most of my pictures are of my Nutmeg.
Sounds like an awesome weekend!
